Challenge 1

Black & White

Let’s see what you can do with a restricted but always fashionable color palette of black and white.  You must design a cocktail dress using only black and white colors.  This challenge will largely be about your pattern choices and use of the two colors in a way that makes your outfit stand out in a sea of other black and white looks.  Remember to accessorize, and pay attention to hair and make-up!

Please submit one full body shot and your choice of either a mid body or head shot (submit 2 shots total).  The second shot is your chance to bring your detailed work to our attention, so if you’ve done something really interesting with hair and make-up, choose a head shot; if you’ve got a lot of clothing details, choose a mid body shot.  These shots must be unedited.  Remember, you must take your pictures inside the TNT Studio. 

If you wish, you may also submit a short description of your work.  What was your inspiration for the challenge?  What were you trying to achieve?  How did you achieve it?  The description is entirely optional and will not be scored.

Don’t forget to provide your list of preferred models for the next challenge!
